Prostate Cancer
Finding The Right Treatment for You
A diagnosis of Prostate Cancer can be both scary and confusing. With so many treatment options available, making the right decision is a daunting task. Friends, family, books, and the internet often provide contradictory recommendations that make it impossible to know what the best choice for you truly is. I will take the time to sit down with you and discuss all available options, tailored to your specific needs, including surgery (robotic or open prostatectomy), radiation (IG/IMRT, Brachytherapy, Cyberknife/SBRT, Protons), hormonal therapies, radiopharmaceuticals (Xofigo®), or observation. Once we have come up with the right therapeutic plan for you, I can either provide treatment in my office or direct you to the best local provider for your needs.
Lung Cancer
Prevent, Detect, Cure
When it comes to lung cancer, we take a three-tiered approach: Prevent, Detect, Cure. To prevent lung cancer, we encourage all smokers in our clinic to participate in a smoking cessation program. To detect lung cancer, we enroll eligible patients in our Low-Dose CT (LDCT) based screening program, which has a proven survival benefit. To cure lung cancer, we use the latest techniques and technologies including lung radiosurgery (SBRT) and Image-Guided/Intensity-Modulate Radiation Therapy (IG/IMRT).
Skin Cancer
Non-Surgical Treatment for Sensitive Sites
Here in the Sunshine State we see more than our fair share of skin cancers. Thankfully, we have many great treatment options that can cure your cancer with an excellent cosmetic outcome. While surgical treatment in your dermatologist's office is still the mainstay of therapy, for certain sensitive sites (your nose, ears, face, shins) radiation is often the treatment of choice. And because there's no cutting involved with radiation, there is little to no scarring after treatment.

When it comes to your brain, technology matters. That's why we utilize the most sophisticated techniques, including Hippocampal Avoidance Whole Brain Radiation Therapy (HA-WBRT), Stereotactic RadioSurgery (SRS), and more.
For patients who have been diagnosed with a glioblastoma, Dr. Klein is one of the few physicians in South Florida able to prescribe the life-prolonging Optune® Tumor Treating Fields device for use after radiation therapy. We offer a host of radiation services specifically tailored to your needs, including Image-Guided/Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IG/IMRT) and High Dose Rate (HDR) Brachytherapy. Both during your treatment and in follow-up, we provide counselling as needed to ensure that you are not only cured, but that you go back to feeling like yourself again.
